IFITT – The Global eTourism Community
The International Federation for Information Technologies in Travel and Tourism (IFITT) is the leading independent global community for the discussion, exchange and development of knowledge about the use and impact of new information and communication technologies (ICT) in the travel and tourism industry.
IFITT provides an eTourism knowledge hub for tourism and technology experts, both in industry and academia. It is one of the world’s oldest tourism and technology non-profit organizations, founded in 1997.
The Federation extensively discusses and progresses the economic, consumer and organizational impacts of eTourism through events such as the ENTER conference, dedicated workshops and IFITT supported publications.
IFITT members include researchers and practitioners of eTourism who treasure the power of networking and global knowledge sharing for improving their competitiveness and innovation.

Organizing Institution: The University of Cyprus
Established in 1989, UCY admitted its first students in 1992. It was founded in response to growing intellectual needs of the Cypriot people and is well placed to fulfil the numerous aspirations in the country.
The University is currently ranked within the top 400 in the Times World University Rankings and features 52nd in the Young Universities Rankings (aged 50 years or younger).
